We sadly lost our purchase new build and lost roughly £7000 on upgrades/furniture (that is in storage as it doesn't fit in our current home)! We had no contact from our buyers until the other day, in which they explained Connells mortgage advisor had NOT declared or submitted the section 106 on the mortgage. When the lender found out from the solicitors THIS is what retracted the mortgage. They knew this all along and hid it thinking we would have no further contact from our previous buyers!
